![]() ![]() ![]() or if I didn't can you tell me what to do differently? ![]() Just want confirmation I did this correctly. I delay the tops by 10 ms to match the arrival time of 49 ms for the subs. I turn on subs and turn off tops and smaart finds a delay time of 49 ms for the subs. I turn off the subs and smaart finds a delay time of 39 ms for the tops. I'm using an apogee duet and Channel 1 is my reference mic and channel 2 is my reference signal of pink noise from the desk (desk right output), which is coming from smaart through my apogee left output. I have a reference microphone at my mix point at FOH. I just want to confirm I'm doing this correctly and correctly aligning my system. I downloaded the 30 day demo of smaart 7 and I think after reading various articles and the manual I figured out how to use the delay finder feature. My venue is all old school analog so I have not previously had the tools to time align my PA, but my new X32 console has delay on all the busses so I figured I would give it a shot. so I'm relatively new to the world of digital processing and time alignment.
